I do not believe that a shampoo can do miracles for your hair or a conditioner can “repair” it, hair is actually dead it can not be repaired or, how many commercials make you believe, reverse the damage. I do believe though that a shampoo can dry and overstress the hair provoking split ends, frizzyness and even hair loss :). My hair is actually oily at the roots and drier at the ends so I can not use a lot of shampoos because most of them do dry my ends and make my scalp even more oily. I was reluctant to pay 12 cnd for a bottle of shampoo but then I thought that 10 dollars for my hair every 4-5 months is not such a big deal and I got this shampoo. The smell is strong and not the best thing out there but the shampoo did a good job cleansing my hair (thanks God, that after it dried there was no strong smell in it …) and not leaving my ends dry and frizzy. The ingredients are great, most are natural and there are no harsh detergents to give you problems. So, yes, I do think that this is a good, gentle shampoo and despite the price I will buy it again.
