I have very oily eyelids and shadows crease quickly on me, but this stuff is a *great* base for eyeshadow! I put it on and dust a little powder over it and my shadows/liners stay put for the day. It also looks great by itself as it brightens the lids w/out creating a raccoon look--and I also use it to lighten my undereye circles. Highly recommended! It seems expensive, but a jar will last you forever and if you have had shadow frustration like I have, you'll pay the $$$ for the stuff that works!
