I bought this after hearing praises about it left and right (also it was on sale). This shade looked very wearable in the tube, and the color more or less stayed true on my pale lips. It felt very emollient when I first put it on, but became a bit dry after about 2 hours. I take it the shimmer has something to do with the dry feeling. I have dry lips so I prefer my lipstick to be moisturizing. Of course if you have no problems with dry lips this is a great product to consider. The color, a light mauve/pink, is perfect for day wear. Perhaps if I top it with clear gloss it'll be perfect. Now I have to go find a good clear gloss...
