I like this product for a lot of reasons: it cleared up my face, it got rid of blackheads, my face is smooth and soft, it is CHEAP, it is oil free and to an extent, oil controlling. I do not like this stuff because it is 10% AHA and I wish it were a little less strong. It can be slightly irritating, especially if this is your first time using a AHA. I wish they made an 8% oil free version. However, it is the best AHA I have used. The smell didn't offend, I noticed an herbal smell the first time I used it. Maybe b/c the Peter Thomas Roth I used before has a strange smell. It is worth a try. I will definately use it from now on.
