This shampoo is great for dry or damaged hair. It is very moisturizing without the heavy silicone or too much protein. It has somewhat of a smoothing effect like it claims. It has wonderful ingredients (chamomile, ginseng, chinese anglica root, kiwi extract, and other wonderful sounding stuff) and sunscreen as well. The scent is amazing -- like a tropical gathering of fruit. The shampoo is opaque and the conditioner is medium in texture. The only downside to this product is you will need to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week and you may get acne around your scalp if you are very acne-prone. I got some occasionally, but the moisturizing benefits made the small sacrafice worth it.
