I have extremely oily, thick but finely textured hair. I color my hair every 6-8 weeks with a semi-permanent hair color (L'Oreal Castings usually) and because my hair is so oily, I have to shampoo daily, so I thought this might be a good choice of shampoo for me. Wrong. The first day I used it I noticed that my hair seemed quite limp and felt filmy. Thinking it was just me or the "bad hair day" fairy, I used it again this morning. After drying my hair and seeing the same limp, filmy head of hair I had yesterday morning, I had to hop back into the shower to reshampoo my hair. I don't think I've ever had a shampoo perform this badly on my hair, typically I'm a "grab any shampoo" kind of gal. They all seem to work about the same. Or so I used to think.

I give it a two because the smell is nice; it's cheap; and if you have extremely dry hair it might work for you. I don't know if it would feel as filmy on someone whose hair is dry or damaged.
