After my awful experience with Urban Decay's Surreal Skin, I was quite wary of wet/dry powder foundations. I stuck with using Studio Fix dry. However, after reading so many positive things about Dual Base, I decided to jump in, and I'm glad I did! Used dry, it gives a nice, medium-coverage matte finish, and -- this is what surprised me most after my Surreal Skin experience -- it works great wet, too! Applied with a damp sponge, it goes on very smooth, giving a medium-coverage but very natural look. I'm impressed, and glad to know that there *are* wet/dry powders out there that actually work wet! The only drawbacks I've found are that the color selection is kind of limited, and, when applied dry, it occasionally looks a little powdery under my eyes. Other than that, I love Dual Base!
