I am a big mask fan, and on a recent trip to get my eyebrows done, I thought I'd indulge in an Aveda product. The consistency is quite thick, the color is white (not bright green!), and it has a wonderful aroma. However, each time I have used it, I have noticed a strong burning sensation on different parts of my face. Please note: I do NOT have sensitive skin. This felt like Sea Breeze or rubbing alcohol. It was not terribly painful, but it was uncomfortable and concerned me. It has left no rashes or red marks on my skin. However, if this product did this to my skin (which is super pigmented and durable), I imagine other people with more sensitive or delicate conditions might have serious problems. I can only laud its fragrance and how smooth it left my skin. As far as removing impurities, they only came out half way, if you know what I mean -- I notice a zit or two after each use.
