This shampoo is very expensive but it's the special shampoo I've dreamed of because it cleans but doesn't strip my hair. I have a serious problem with tangles and after washing my hair with this, I can actually comb it through even before my conditioner or detangler and it doesn't weigh hair down with conditioning agents. Give this a try is your hair is chemically treated/dry. It's supposed to be a good shampoo for all hair types. I have to note that I'm surprised neither the salon nor the Aveda Store recommended this for my hair and I think it's fantastic except for the price.
