Sap Moss Shampoo is one of Aveda's newest hair care products. I tried a sample size first and did end up buying this product. It is for dry hair and I alternate it with Shampure, using it when my hair feels especially dry or once a week. It has an unusual look (sort of a light brown color) and texture (actually kind of gooey) and a smell unlike any other shampoo. It lathers up very well and does a good job cleaning, and does seem to re-moisturize my hair. I was skeptical of this product at first but my hair does seem to respond well to it. I read an article in Elle magazine that tree sap is the latest hot product in the cosmetic industry because of its hydrating properties. I gave this product a 4/5 because of its weird color and texture, but its performance has been great for my needs. Aveda offers most of their products in "trial" sizes which tend to be on the expensive side but are a good way to try their products which overall tend to be expensive, but worth it in my opinion.
