This shampoo comes in a 8 oz bottle. Therefore, it is pretty expensive. It has a nice scent to it that is sweet like honey. However, I did not like this shampoo because it didn't foam as much as I liked. Also, I usually only pour a small amount of shampoo in my hand but with Aveda, I felt the need to pour more. Otherwise, my hair didn't feel really clean like my regular drugstore shampoo. Any drugstore shampoo foams better than this shampoo. Aveda does seem to leave my hair softly textured, but I don't have the shine to my thick hair that I used to have when I used drugstore. This Aveda shampoo sort of reminds of the old Johnson and Johnson Baby shampoo that has the same amber color and sweet smell. I prefer the Baby shampoo and maybe I'll buy that one instead. The price sure gives me an incentive! Aveda is nice for giving softness but it seems to forget it is also supposed to clean my hair.
