Everyday I'd find myself reaching for my Revlon Wet/Dry shadow quad, but I'm really just using the darkest brown shade as an eyeliner. I simply couldn't be bothered to put on eyeshadow. However out of curiosity (and the fact the price is more than reasonable) I ordered this shadow duo from Avon - and it's a good buy. This "Lavender" duo consists of a pale lilac shade with very subtle shimmer, and a medium/dark greyish purple with the shimmer being more noticeable. These shadows are not very pigmented, which is a plus for me as I'm no expert in blending, and this allows me to build the colour to the right intensity. The shadows last a good few hours before creasing a bit - I do have very oily eyelids and therefore I do not expect any powder shadow to last longer than "a good few hours". Consider Avon has this product on sale quite often, I will be picking up a few more combinations, and re-acquaint myself with eyeshadows once again.
