I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to Estee Lauder's $25 self tanner. While it doesn't work as well as the pricier EL tanner it did a decent job. Unfortunately to get the desired color (a light bronze)I had to apply the product twice (which means I'm not really saving all that much money since the EL tanner only needs one application on my pale skin & the bottle contains more product). One application did very little and I was not pleased but when I reapplied I turned a nice color similar to the EL shade. This product *does* streak however despite its claims that it does not. It is a white cream so it is a bit difficult to see if you've missed a spot and you've got to apply it quickly or you'll get the unattractive streaking (happened to me on both arms - grrr). The smell isn't great but its not horrid either. I still prefer my EL tanner but I'll use this again if I'm in a pinch and can't make a trip to the mall.
