For LIGHT Coverage ONLY...
PROS: Soft texture, Light, doesn't rub off easily.

CONS: NOT for medium-maximum coverage. VERY time consuming. Extremely messy even for the experienced powder user. Containers are not good for traveling with. Streaks, runs and changes colors the second it gets wet so you better hope you never get caught in the rain wearing it.

I'm 24 years old and suffer from adult onset acne and oily prone skin. I wanted to try something that was lighter than my current liquid foundation by Dermacia. I purchased Bare Minerals from the website after seeing the infomercial a million times. I watched the video and then spent the next 2 hours applying the BareMinerals foundation. I applied it the first time, using the consealer brush for maximum coverage on my acne, it looked too dark and too consentrated so I washed my face and tried again. I applied this makeup 4 times using different techniques each time. Eventually the Kbuki brush was irritating my skin and I had to give up. There was nothing I could do to have applied this makeup any better than I did and still, I did not achieve good results what so ever. This is an expensive mineral foundation designed for those who already have great skin and don't really need make up. I've actually had better results with Loreal Bare Naturale Mineral Makeup even though it did make me look gray. For those of you looking for a great foundation for Acne / Oily Prone skin thats Oil-Free try Revlons ColorStay with SoftFlex. It contains 7.3% Titanium Dioxide to help oxygenate your skin. Its comparable to Dermacia at a fraction of the cost. CONCLUSION: I would not recommend Bare Minerals unless you already have flawless skin and like wasting your money on pointless products.
