If you use the right brushes, you will love this foundation as much as I do!
I've been using this foundation in Fairly Light for over 2 years. Only once did I try a different product - boy, was that a mistake!
I have acne scars all over my face. I thought a powder would never cover anything, but this hides it all. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but now I am a pro at covering even the most stubborn spots. It's all about the brushes you use.
I use the kabuki, of course, for all-over. For under the eyes and large areas, I use the Maximum Coverage Concealer brush by BE. For spot coverage, I use an angled eye shadow brush, dabbing on and closely around the spot. The Mineral Veil smoothes everything out in the end, so I recommend using the two together.
It will seem time-consuming at first for those of you with constellation maps like my face, but you'll get the hang of it. Nothing feels as smooth or covers more naturally, in my opinion, and I have tried a drugstore's worth of foundations over the years. Also, my acne basically disappeared about 4 months into the use of the BareMinerals line, so eventually you won't have as much to cover anyway.
Just like most things that actually work, you have to give it a little time.
The only reasons I gave this 4 out of 5 are because it's expensive and the container is a little annoying toward the end of the supply. Oh, and your vanity/bathroom/shirt will eventually be covered in it, but it comes off easily. I just back away from the mirror and wear a robe when applying with the kabuki, that way I can just vacuum the carpet and remove the robe when I'm done. Sounds like a pain, but your skin is worth it!
