I have tried Lancome, Estee Lauder, Burt's Bees, and various drugstore skin-care lines like Oil of Olay, Neutrogena, and Basis. The best all-around skincare line I have ever used is definitely Beauty without Cruelty. The name of the company may not be sexy, but the ingredients are high-quality "botanical infusions" of natural antioxidants like grape-seed extract. Their All Day Moisturizer comes in a little tub, but it's NOT a cream -- it's incredibly light and makes my skin feel silky. I also use their Maximum Moisture Cream (perhaps their best product, and great for dry skin) as an eye-cream. It's rich, absorbs amazingly well, and is never greasy. I know they have some face moisturizers with SPF, but I haven't tried them yet... And, as the name of their company, implies, they do not do animal testing! Their scrub and clay mask are also excellent, inexpensive products. Drustore.com and mothernature.com sells the line, if you can't find it at your local health food/vitamin store.
