This is an excellent shadow. The formula is a thick, smooth cream that applies well with a flat, smooth, firm, slightly long brush. Far Out is about the same color as MAC's Sable shadow, a shimmery, rich sable/doe color. The creamy texture really melds well with the skin, and the shimmer looks luminous and deep. It lasts very well, even on my oily lids. Though I have very fair skin, this darker shade of shadow still looks naturally enhancing. Highly recommended.
