This is un update. I applied the balm after I moisturized my face and it reduced any shine. It made my face look smoother and ready for my foundation. my face felt mattified and smooth like I just applied a primer(I do have pores and have post mark blemishes). When I applied my foundation, I couldn't believe how my skin looked perfect! I definitely recommend this if you are prone to an oily t-zone.
