Baby Cake is my foray into the world of Bloom. It's a luscious caramel-nude shade that looks gorgeous on its own or over lipstick. The texture is thick and creamy. Even though the gloss isn't sticky, it still manages to be long lasting. The gloss has a pleasant mild scent ... not at all overpowering for those of you who are sensitive to scents. The packaging is a clear lightly frosted tube with the cute Bloom logo girl. My only complaint is the applicator. The wand is sponge-tipped, but it's longer than most and straight. I prefer a shorter, slanted sponge-tipped applicator because the gloss spreads across my lips more evenly. Barring this minor complaint, Bloom lip gloss is fantastic and comes in many other appealing shades. Bloom even has a cool lip gloss palette, so we can try 8 different shades in one fell swoop!
