A clerk at the Origins counter referred me to the Bobbi Brown counter for this eyeliner when I inquired about a long-lasting eyeliner that doesn't smudge or smear during the day. She said that a friend of hers who does bridal make-up, calls it the "Mother of the Bride" eyeliner because you can't cry it off. Amen! This is by far the best eyeliner I have ever used. Caution: Don't feel you need to buy Bobbi Brown's eyeliner brush, though. I actually use an artist brush I bought at an art store for about $3 -- it's got a very fine little brush, which is what you need to apply this eyeliner. What I like about it is that I can paint on a very thin line, then wait a second or two just before it sets up for good, and then I smudge it out a little with a wider eyeliner brush. I love the resulting smokey-eye look. I have this in almost every color and let me tell you about how long it lasts -- I've had them for over a year and only now am BEGINNING to see the bottom of the bottle in the one I wear the most (Chocolate Glimmer). That works out to a little over a dollar a month!
