I have tried a lot of foundations. I tend tend to stick with department store brands because I think the formulations are colors are better and are worth the extra money. I was recently at Nordstroms looking at the Clarins counter and since there was no one available at that counter someone at the Bobbi Brown counter came over. She suggested I take a look at the Bobbi Brown line. So at her urging I got an impromtu make-over. Since I have tend to have oily skin she used the oil control lotion, oil-free foundation in warm sand and the loose powder in soft sand. I thought the make-over looked good at the counter so I decided to shell out a small fortune and buy all three items. As soon as I got outside I realized I made a mistake. My skin never looked so oily. I decided to try the products again without the oil-control lotion and i still ended up with the same results. I give the foundation a 2 only because the color was good. Otherwise, I don't get the hype with the Bobbi Brown line. I found her products to be just borderline-okay. My recommendation is save your money and try another line.
