This book is great in it's fresh way of looking at beauty. Bobbi talks beauty philosophy - about loving the way you look ("flaws" and all) and loving those features (i.e. strong noses, deep-set eyes, extremely full lips). She runs through the makeup basics of foundation, powder, brows, eye shadow, blush...you name it! And she never plugs her own makeup line (except to say that makeup artists' lines are great and those pictures with Bobbi Brown tools...but all is forgiven!). It's a very naturalistic way of dealing with makeup, and if you like that this book's for you.
