i know that some people have said some negative things about this product, but my roommate has me hooked on it.it can sting a little, but nothing painful in my opinion. if you go by a borghese retailer, thay can usually hook you up with a sample of the product so you can try before you buy. i get a lot from this mask-- firming, texturizing, removal of surface impurities, exfoliation and moisturization. i think it's fabulous.
