This is a wonderful cleanser. I believe that oily skin would find this cleanser to "Vaseline"-like. It does have that petroleum feel on your fingertips, but when smoothed over the face, the smell is great (like Starburst candy or something) and it doesn not feel slippery, stripping, or abrasive.For normal, dry, and/or sensitive skins, like me, this cleanser fully removes grime and eye makeup (although it states "Keep away from eyes") and does not leave the skin tight--so much that I sometimes almost forget to put on a moisturizer--but I never forget to! I'm guessing that with a facial brush, this cleanser would be an effective exfoliant.
