This lotion has a nice light scent, a good creamy but somewhat thin consistency, and is a good body lotion for normal skin. Very dry skin would need something more emmollient. I put it on right after a shower. Is supposed to be extra gentle but I'm not sure I'd use it on my face. The scent probably would be too noticeable for face cream.
