This cream has a pale mustard yellow color and a thick cold cream consistency. I should also warn potential users of the strong ginger-y, floral fragrance inherent in the cream. I had to work it into my skin because it would not absorb readily. Once it was completely massaged, it worked well under my makeup and kept my dry, parched skin moisturized throughout the day. I would not recommend it for those with oily skin though.
