I received samples of the Taupe and Woodviolet eyeshadows. If you are sick of all the matte Taupes or the really frosty Taupes, then this one is for you. You can apply it as sheer as you like or as deep as you like. The shimmer as like all his other products are there for diffusion. You won't end up with the dry powdery look of some matte eyeshadows. His eyeshadows make you look as if you have this light just glowing off your eyes. No garish look here. The Woodviolet is a dark brown with a tinge of purple-burgundy. This one can also be applied as sheer as you like or as dark as you like. The texture of these shadows are smooth. The slip is great no choppy application with these shadows. And, probably no mistakes!
