When I ordered this product, I expected it to be creamy, with a dewy finish. I was partially right. The product has a lovely creamy feel, but dries into a powdery finish. It comes in a squeeze out tube. It goes on sheer, which must be why it's called "eye color wash". It can be layered for more intense color. The shade I bought, Pale Gold, is a warm yellow with a slight shimmer to it. It's a great summer shade. The product lasts for most of the day without creasing. Despite my initial disappointment, I like this product and would consider buying it in other shades.
