This toner doesn't dry out my skin, it doesn't have a strong smell like some I've tried, and it goes on feeling fresh, not any burning. It removes last traces of residues and makeup and prepares your skin for your moisturizer. I only give it a 4 because it cost $8 for only 4 oz. But it is chock full of good ingredients, many are natural such as chamomile extract, rosemary extract, lavender extract, alpha lipoic acid (an antioxidant), and allantoin. The box on this toner says it helps balance the ph of the skin, soothes, calms. This is good for normal to dry skin.
