What a fun shade to wear. Shangri-La is a mix of green, blue and gray with fine gold shimmer. It accentuates my eyes without being over the top. The color is sheer, but that is partly what makes it wearable. It's well-suited for someone just starting out with colorful eye looks. I like to wear a couple of light layers of Shangri-La on the lid with a light neutral from crease to brow or with a light to medium bronze in the crease and a light neutral to highlight. The texture is smooth like my other Cargo eyeshadows, but it does not blend as easily. It isn't hard to blend, mind you, but it just doesn't blend as easily as my other Cargo eyeshadows. Shangri-La wears well on my oily lids, but I do wear an e/s base under it as I do for all of my eyeshadows.
