This lipstick is wonderful! I would describe the color as a golden shimmery muted reddish-brown with just a splash of warm, but muted, orange. It sounds odd, but believe me, it's a gorgeous shade, wearable for both day or night. It would shine on warm-toned ladies with brown or auburn hair, especially. The texture is superb, very smooth and moisturizing. It doesn't ball up or get sticky during the day, either. There is the faintest lipstick-y smell; not offending, however -- and I'm sensitive to lipstick smells. It wears well throughout the day, with excellent color retention. This is also a thicker textured lipstick, which enables one to wear it perfectly without a lip liner underneath -- no bleeding! A beautiful lipstick -- I highly recommend it.
