I have used Cetaphil off and on for about 20 years. I have dry skin. I never stick with Cetaphil for any longer than a month at a time. I find myself using it during the drier winter months when my skin is needing moisture.

After a while, I just need to use something else that makes my skin and pores feel like they are being cleaned more effectively.

I have to use a washcloth & water to get the residue off. Using plain water and my hands to rinse is not enough...no matter how thorough I try to be when rinsing.

I would probably rate this product a 4 if it rinsed off better. I would only recommend this to a friend if they had dry skin and could take/make the time to deal with residue.
