After sampling what seems like dozens of concealers over the years, I finally decided to shell out some big bucks and try the cosmetics of the godesses - Chanel. Actually, I was steered towards the Chanel counter by a wonderful MAC makeup consultant. She listened to my tales of woe while I was returning my Studio Fix concealer because, in summary, I hated it. She confided in me that she wears Chanel's Quick Cover concealer because, unlike MAC's Stuido Fix Concealer, it doesn't cake, crease, or turn yellowish after you wear it for a few hours. I don't know if all MAC sales reps are this nice, but my MAC consultant was very honest and sweet about the whole thing. I really have to respect that kind of attitude in a makeup consultant. Anyway, the Chanel concealer applies beautifully to a velvet finish. You truly can't tell you're wearing concealer. It hasn't creased or turned cakey looking after a few hours of wear either. I give it a 4 rating because I honestly don't believe any concealer should cost $30, but I was desperate and I've tried every concealer out there, so this was really worth it for me.
