The consistency of the gloss isn't anything to rave about, considering the price you pay for it. I bought the gloss in the color Frivole, which looks like a lovely deep plummy, mauve color in the tube, but when applied, too much comes on and my lips look a little too gray. So to tone it down, I either have to be light on the application, which is hard, or rub some colour off with my fingers. I once made the mistake of blotting it off, which makes me look like a throwback from the 80's cos' of the frost in the gloss. I give it a 2, cos' I still can use it by toning it down with a lighter coloured gloss, but I was rather disappointed with this purchase.
