I tried this only because the November Allure issue had the lowdown on the best mascaras on the market right now, and this was one of them. The article proported that this mascara was the closest thing to wearing false eyelashes. Well, after trying it, I must say it is very good but not quite like wearing false eyelashes. If you like the natural look, this mascara is NOT for you. If you are the Bond Girl type, this mascara IS definitely for you. The formula is creamy, not dry like 2000 Calorie which is why I decided to seek elsewhere. The Onyx color is truly black and not slate, a plus. And it does do a great job of coating your lashes from the very base to the very tips. Another plus is that it has endured several, grueling, two-hour workouts at the gym without smearing, flaking, or smudging one bit. While this mascara is a keeper, I need to find a way to keep it from clumping my lashes together. It certainly outperforms 2000 Calorie and Soft and Full by a mile, if you're willing to cough up $20 every three months for a tube.
