I have medium brown hair that I color a dark brown to contrast with my fair skin. I've tried all of the drugstore brands, and this is by far the best I've ever used. I use the shade "Brown Triumph" and it looks beautiful and shiny. I also can't believe how long it's lasted. It's been at least 6 weeks and I have no "root line" at all. It's definitely fading out, but doing so gradually in such a natural looking way that I'm in no hurry to color again. It comes with this protectant spray, which is really nice to detangle hair and make it shiny, but doesn't weigh it down at all. My Walgreens had a buy 1 get 1 free special on this a few weeks ago, and I bought as many as I could find!
