I am sorry to hear about Anonymous' horrible experience with this stuff. Whilst I would not recommend it for dry skin (the gentle foaming cleanser is better for dryness) I would never have thought it would do harm. I found this cleanser to be a refreshing gel cleanser that got my make-up off and helped to calm my blemishs. I guess it is a good thing that Clarins is usually generous with samples.
