Desperate to try anything to help keep my foundation from melting with such oily skin, I turned to Clarins for their "botanical" answer to my quandry. The product is gel-like and absorbs instanly to a matte finish. It even smells refreshing. It helps somewhat to keep my oil under control but it's no miracle worker. About 4 hours after application, I'm back to shiny skin. This may be better for someone with more normal/combo skin that wants a light refreshing moisturizer.
