these strips were not too bad, even if they do leave a white residue around the nose; This white residue is easy to rinse off. More importantly, the blackheads DO come out (of course not all of them) but a fair amount. They WILL hurt when you pull them off IF you leave them on for too long....but all bandage like things would too if you applied them to your face...
