Clinique describes this pencil as "For fastest lining, smudging, and shading." It does just that. This is the best pencil I have ever used. One end is a smooth long lasting eyeliner; the other end is a smudger and cap with eyeshadow in it. The eyesahdow stays in the cap so you don't have to worry about mess even if you tip it upside down. Great for easy smokey eyes. I have it in Double Coffee a great brown for everyday wear. I plan on getting it in Black and also Blue-Grey next. Great price too.
