I tried this back when everyone told me that Cliniqe had the best of everything. The foundation from them I tried was Superbalanced in Light. The color was perfect for my skin in any kind of light. It is supposed to wick oil away when you are oily in an area and moisturize when you are dry in an area. Question- what does it DO with the oil it is supposed to "wick away"? It can't put it in the garbage can or anything, so the oil must just still stay on your skin. And can a foundation think? What does it do with this moisturizer it is supposed to use when you are dry? That must just sit there too. And when I tried this, the oil DID stay. My combo skin liked the feel and application of this foundation. Creamy, smooth, even. But it DID NOT balance my skin in the least. I went through the whole bottle and went thus for 3 months with a very oily t zone area. And oiler cheeks. It seems like this foundation MADE me more oily.
People like Clinique because they think that they are getting a prestige brand for cheap. $16.50 worth of pain doesn't come cheap.
