I have skin that has a tendency to be dry, and even putting moisturizer on beforehand, the foundation seemed to soak it up. The finish was not dewy, but had a matte, almost powdery finish. I probably won't use it often, but even so, it makes good cover-up. It would probably work better for someone with less dry skin.
