I have normal to oily skin, and it gets super greasy looking at times. I just bought this mattifier and it works well. It doesn't dry out my skin and it prevents my nose from turning into a grease factory. In fact, after several hours after applying the lotion, I blotted my face with face blotting papers and lo and behold, it didn't absorb much oil, which means that the sheer mattness must have worked!
