After having tried a gozillion foundations for my combo (VERY oily T-zone) skin, I have to say this is one of the better, if no the best.
I squeeze a small amount onto the back of my left hand in an attempt to mimic the style of professional make-up artists. Then I dab a bit on my eyelids and under each eye as a foundation for my concealer.
Then, with whatever is left on the back of my hand, I mix in some of my moisturizer. This is a great way to thin out the makeup for a little more natural look and utilize my moisturizing step.
However, I recently discovered that with all the hot, humid weather, my oil glands have gone into overdrive! I read one review by a woman who stated the only drawbback to this product, she felt, was the absence of sunscreen. Well, I found a way to incorporate sunscreen into this product and make it work! Instead of adding a dallop of moisturizer to the makeup, I added a dallop of Clinique SPF 25 Super City Sunscreen for the face and Voile!! Now I'm protected too! The products work better together than separately, I have found. I find the sunscreen is fairly moisturizing on its own, so replacing my regular moisturizer (Moisture In Control Oil-Free) with the sunscreen balanced it out.
I apply this mixture with my fingers since I find a sponge (wet or dry) absorbs too much foundation.
All in all, I definitely would, and have, recommended this foundation to someone else. In fact, a friend of mine recommended this to me as she swears by it! Now, I know why!!
