This is a classic "your-lips-but-better" shade. It is a lipstick with a smooth, balmy consistency. This lipstick looks almost black in the tube, but is a very sheer red with brown undertones. It is a beautiful neutral color that anyone can wear. The only complaint I have is that it has almost no lasting power, and reapplication is a must if you want this to last more than forty-five minutes. Otherwise, this is a great product that is worth every penny.
