I don't really think this achieves the same results of microdermabrasion. Clinique claim that this is an alternative for it. It is a pleasant mask to use. Skin is smoother, brighter and less flaky after use. Absolutely no irritation involved- on some occasions there was a slight tingle while the product was still moist. I liked it's pearly appearance and subtle shimmer- obviously helps with the dewy glow you see afterwards.
