I was surprised to see so many negative reports of this moisturizer. I've had a big bottle of this hanging around for about 2 years now and it just recently came in handy when I had an unexpected allergic reaction to other products. My skin had become extremely irritated, flaky, red, and dehydrated. I tried everything gentle on it including plain Vaseline and found that I could only tolerate Vaseline which was far to greasy to wear long term; Cetaphil moisture cream and this one. I've been using it for the last 2 weeks as a night cream as it has no sunscreen and have found that it really has rehydrated and calmed my skin. I guess we're all different, but I still like this one.
