This gel is super-moisturizing, more than L'Oreal Hydrafresh which I tried before. I think it would be good for dehydrated skin of any type. As usual, Clinique suggests to use it after 3-step system, but this should be ignored, just use it as you please. It's completely non-greasy and feels tightening. My only complaint is that it isn't a good base for makeup, makes the blending difficult.
