It's ok on the shine.. doesn't make much of a difference in a room, but outside in the sun, you can definitely tell.. it DOES control my frizzies.. though I've had better products that do that.. and it does seem to weigh my hair down quite a bit, and makes it a little oilier.. even though I only used a tiny tiny bit..
