I bought this from Target today after searching around as it was not at the CoverGirl section,so I figure well its new ,look on the end caps.It was in the long section where all the makeup is but not where CG was? ok anyway found it! Whew..they had this plastic type card of the different color choices and you place the card on the back of your hand and if it disappears its an exact match and Classic Ivory did exactly that for me!(I am fair-med) I made sure my face was fairly moisturized when I applied it and it does go on very creamy,but I didn't see the "liquid" part as they talked about,and then it sets to powder.I DO NOT recommend the eye area as its too drying and every line I had and then some, showed up! The color was a perfect match for my face and except for the eye area the powder wasn't that drying and I have combo skin.It is water-based and sheer and wears thru the day unlike Shiesidos waterbased compact which I tried and returned as I found it faded thur the day. I gave it a 3 because I am torn about this product.I usually return what I don't like and I think I will keep this and maybe just wear it on the wknds BUT I will not purchase this again. My favorite waterbase foundation compact right now is Lancome's Hydracompact.
